Hub Glass employs a number of estimators who are able to bid on a wide variety of contract jobs including mall fronts, tenant fitups, and municipal buildings. We furnish and install new doors and frames and storefronts, including mall fronts, glass and aluminum curtainwall installations, and heavy glass interior mall front glazing.
We have been building the contract glazing department up again over the past 7 years. We have glazed many of the retail stores in the Natick Mall, Square One Mall, Cambridgeside Galleria, Copley Place, Burlington Mall and Providence Place.
In addition to installing mall interiors and storefronts for contract jobs, Hub Glass also installs glass railings in stores and around escalators,
where second floor railings provide for beauty and safety. Hub Glass buys from most of the major door and aluminum manufacturers.
We have provided tenant fit ups in many of the downtown office buildings. These include jobs for KPMG, Fleet Bank Executive Office, I2 Technologies, and Bell Atlantic.
We have installed storefronts and entrances for Bloomingdale's, BankBoston, Boston Public Library, and Northland Development.
Many general contractors repeatedly seek out Hub Glass to bid on their intricate, state of the art,
"all glass" entrances and other projects. A leader in the contract glazing industry, our experienced estimators take the job from blueprints to "Grand Opening."
The jobs are followed by our project managers and installed by our own union glaziers. Whether it's a tenant fit up for Fleet Bank, executive offices, or an entrance for a storefront on Main Street, the finished product is always a professional job.
Hub Glass is well versed in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) code for both contract jobs as well as providing renovations to existing openings requiring ADA approval.
